Bryan-College Station, TX has small town Texas charm and offers plenty to do for RN to keep busy. It is located just west of the Texas Sam Houston National Forest and about a ninety minute drive from Houston, TX.




There are nine museums in the area including the George Bush Presidential Liary and Museum, the Brazos Valley African American Museum, the Texas A&M Sports Museum, and the Brazos Valley Museum of Natural History. Besides the many museums and galleries there is also the acclaimed Messina Hof winery and resort. Spend the day on a tour of the vineyard and your evening relaxing while sipping a glass of Texas Riesling or Shiraz. If you like to golf you'll love that there are several country clubs and golf courses in the area ranging from the championship Miramont golf course to beautifully designed public courses. If shopping is your thing you will enjoy Downtown Bryan which has an assortment of interesting shops. If you prefer to spend the day outdoors you can always visit the Sam Houston National Forest and spend the day fishing, hiking, biking, camping, hunting, or horseback riding.



Job Description

The TELE Nurse is responsible for caring for patients who need special monitoring, sometimes this includes patients recently released from the Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities

As a TELE Nurse your duties include:


  • Administering prescribed medications and use life measuring equipment.

  • Reviewing data produced from various medical equipment and act upon findings.

  • Providing updates to the patient and their family members about their condition.

  • Educating patients about the different ways to adapt to major lifestyle changes.

Requirements

One year of experience as a TELE Nurse within the past two years.


  • Active Nursing License in good standing.

  • Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.

  • Negative Drug Screen.
