The Telemetry RN is responsible for taking care of patients who must have special monitoring, sometimes including patients recently released from the ICU.
As a Telemetry Registered Nurse your responsibilities consist of:
- Giving prescribed medications and operating life measuring instruments.
- Analyzing data produced from various medical equipment and act upon findings.
- Providing updates to the patient and their families about their condition.
- Educating patients about the different ways to adjust to major lifestyle changes.
One year of experience as a Telemetry Nurse within the past two years.
- Current RN License in good standing.
- Current BLS from American Heart Association.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
