Job Description

A Pediatric RN is in charge of the care of children of all ages when they become sick. Pediatric RNs will see various conditions and illnesses and provide care options.

Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Nurse your duties include:


  • Conducting routine checkups, checking and tracking vitals.

  • Giving medications and immunizations, while monitoring the patient closely.

  • Meeting with parents and their family members going over conditions and possible treatments.

  • Advising the patient and their family members about healthier lifestyles and activities.


Requirements

One year of experience as a Pediatric Nurse within the past two years.


  • Current Nursing License in good standing.

  • Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
