RN Operating Room

Troy, Ohio

When you're looking for a travel nursing contract, finding the right job is important. Also important, however, is heading to a city that will be friendly and accommodating while also offering sights and activities that fill your time and appeal to your interests. Dayton is a great choice for a contract because it combines big-city excitement with the friendliness that comes from working in a small town along with tons of indoor and outdoor activities.

One of Dayton's claims to fame is being the home and place of design for the Wright Brothers, which is evident by the many museums dedicated to aviation and the annual Dayton Air Show, an event that brings food and entertainment, along with aviation, to the city. That's just one of the many celebrations that go on throughout a year in Dayton. Greek Festival is another popular event worthy of a visit, even if just for the great food.

While it offers all the amenities of a city, Dayton also has plenty to offer the nature-loving travel nurse. The extensive Miami Valley Trails are a favorite of Dayton's walkers, runners, and bikers. Dayton Aviation Heritage Park, a national park right in the city, is worth a visit. Dayton's Riverscape is a popular destination through each of Dayton's four distinct seasons with outdoor concerts and events in the summertime and an outdoor ice rink in the colder months.

No matter what kind of entertainment interests you - museums, galleries, performing arts, shopping, dining - you can find it in Dayton, so grab your fellow nurses and go exploring when you get there. If you're ready to look for a travel nursing contract in the "Gem City," give Nurses PRN a call!
