Maryland is in the middle of lots of good things, it's no wonder travel nurses love Maryland! Ocean City, MD is one of the east coast's number one resort cities and has 10 miles of great beaches. Baltimore is a city of diverse neighborhoods, like Little Italy, with world-class restaurants, unique shops and boutiques and an endless array of entertainment options.

Feast on the famous blue crabs at great eateries all over Maryland. Maryland is full of great places to see like Annapolis, called the "Sailing Capital of the World" and home to the U.S. Naval Academy. RNONCOLOGYBaltimore, MD

The primary focal point for the Oncology RN is to deliver care for patients who are diagnosed with different stages of cancer. Oncology RNs also help patients that have a elevated risk of getting the disease, and provide the patients with preventative techniques.

Responsibilities

As an Oncology Nurse your duties include:
  • Offering encouragement to patients while educating them on their condition.
  • Administering chemotherapy and other necessary medications to the patient.
  • Observing the patient's physical and mental state and documenting their progress.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Oncology RN within the past two years.
  • Current RN License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
  • Negative Drug Screen.
