Job Description

Neonatal ICU RNs work with newborns that require specialized care. Additionally NICU Nurses provide care 24 hours a day to their little patients and they offer support to parents. NICU Nurses work as a member of a large team of doctors and nurse practitioners.

Responsibilities

As a NICU RN responsibilities consist of:


  • Mindfully monitor newborns reporting doctors of changes.

  • Assist in developing and executing a plan of care.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Neonatal ICU RN within the past two years.


  • Current Nursing License in good standing.

  • Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.

  • Negative Drug Screen.
