When looking for your next travel nursing contract, turn toward St. Louis for a city full of culture with beautiful, scenic landscapes. St. Louis is a great city for a contract because it is chalk full of places to visit and they are almost all free, so you can keep that hard-earned cash in your pocket. St. Louis is also known for being a beautiful city filled with green space, uncommon for a city of its size. The most well-known St. Louis landmark is the famous Gateway Arch. You can take a ride up to the top of the arch to kick off a day of exploring the surrounding reflecting pools and historic sites. St. Louis is also full of museums of art and history. If that's not your thing you could spend the day touring the famous Anheuser-Busch Brewery and enjoying some free samples on a day off from your travel contract.  Sometimes, while doing a nursing contract in a city, it's nice to get out and spend some time in nature. St. Louis's Forest Park is the place to go. The gigantic park contains zoos and museums of its own along with the chance to do some walking or hiking through the park or boating and fishing on the water. It's also a go-to ice skating spot in the wintertime.  Along with all of this, take time to go shopping and try one of the restaurants in the Delmar Loop, see the city from the Mississippi River on a riverboat cruise, or take in a performance at one of several performing arts venues. A contract in St. Louis promises an experience filled with endless opportunities to try something new, and that's one of the best parts of travel nursing.
