Although it's a bustling city, Chicago is filled with diverse smaller neighborhoods with identities of their own. As the starting place for several world-famous comedians, Chicago's a great place for comedy lovers to take in a show. Go to Second City, the home theater of many of Saturday Night Live's own comedians.

Music loving nurses will feel right at home in Chicago. Its history of jazz and blues holds strong with free festivals throughout the year and jazz and blues clubs throughout the cities. Larger festivals like Lollapalooza feature big names in a variety of types of music. You can also get to know the city through Taste of Chicago, the largest outdoor food festival in the world.

Chicago's parks are filled with museums of art, history, and science along with world-famous zoos and aquariums.
