Job Description

Emergency Nurses provide care for people that are experiencing critical injuries or trauma. Emergency Room RNs need to have the ability to rapidly identify life-threatening complications while remaining professional and calm.

Responsibilities

As an Emergency Room Nurses your responsibilities consist of:


  • Managing time and possessing ability to make immediate, accurate assessments.

  • Making certain patients are stable and reducing any discomfort in an intense setting.

  • Providing prescribed medications while checking for any allergies to prevent complications.

  • Rapidly obtain vitals and other samples when needed.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Emergency room RN within the past two years.


  • Current Nursing License in good standing.

  • Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
