Job Description

Emergency Room Nurses help patients who are experiencing life-threatening trauma or injuries. Emergency Room RNs need to have the ability to immediately identify life-threatening complications while staying calm and professional.

Responsibilities

As an Emergency Room RNs your responsibilities consist of:


  • Managing time and having the ability to make fast, accurate assessments.

  • Ensuring patients are stable and reducing any discomfort in an intense setting.

  • Providing prescribed medications while reviewing their records for allergies to prevent complications.

  • Quickly take vitals and other samples if needed.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Emergency room RN within the past two years.


  • Active RN License in good standing.

  • Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
