Job Description

Endoscopy Registered Nurses provide assistance and care for patients going through endoscopic procedures. Endoscopy Registered Nurses monitor the patient during the procedure and need to have the ability to quickly handle problems.

Responsibilities

As an Endoscopy RN your responsibilities include:
  • Aiding the doctors by getting the patients ready for their procedures.
  • Giving any necessary medications.
  • Assessing the patient prior to sedation.
  • Monitoring the patient during sedation to diagnose and treat any problems.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Endoscopy Registered Nurse within the past two years.
  • Active Nursing License in good standing.
  • Current BLS from American Heart Association.
  • Negative Drug Screen.
