Job Description

Emergency Room Nurses assist people who are experiencing life-threatening injuries or trauma. Emergency Nurses need to have the ability to immediately identify life-threatening problems while staying professional and calm.

Responsibilities

As an Emergency Nurses your duties include:


  • Managing time and possessing ability to make rapid, accurate assessments.

  • Making certain patients are stable and managing any discomfort in an intense setting.

  • Giving medications while reviewing their records for allergies to prevent complications.

  • Quickly obtain vitals and other health samples as needed.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Emergency nurse within the past two years.


  • Current RN License in good standing.

  • Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
