Maryland is in the middle of lots of good things, it's no wonder travel nurses love Maryland! Ocean City, MD is one of the east coast's number one resort cities and has 10 miles of great beaches. Baltimore is a city of diverse neighborhoods, like Little Italy, with world-class restaurants, unique shops and boutiques and an endless array of entertainment options.

Feast on the famous blue crabs at great eateries all over Maryland. Maryland is full of great places to see like Annapolis, called the "Sailing Capital of the World" and home to the U.S. Naval Academy. The Chemotherapy Registered Nurse administers chemo treatments and other various medications under supervision of a doctor. A Chemotherapy Nurse differs from a traditional RN in terms of using unique medications and methods of treatment. In some cases a Chemotherapy Registered Nurse may perform blood transfusions for patients. On-going of cutting edge research is required.


As a Chemotherapy Registered Nurse you responsibilities include:
  • Assessing patients for procedures by reviewing vitals.
  • Collecting samples of bodily fluids from patients to be studied and logged.
  • Providing follow-up care and emotional support for the patient.
  • Answering any inquiries the patient might have.
  • Arranging treatments based on the physician's requests and the patient's needs.


One year of experience as a Chemotherapy RN within the past two years.
  • Current Nursing License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
