Job Description

The Catherization Lab RN assists physicians in the analysis and treatment of cardiac problems. Catheterization lab nurses are responsible for preparing the patient for their examinations, and give physical and emotional support to the patient.

Responsibilities

As a Cath Lab RN your responsibilities include:
  • Checking the patient’s vitals before, during and after procedures.
  • Dispensing and logging medication.
  • Providing treatment as needed.
  • Assisting the doctors perform different procedures such as stent placements.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Cath Lab RN within the past two years.
  • Active Nursing License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
