Job Description

The OR Technician is responsible for working with surgeons in the operating room. An Operating Room Technician will prepare the room and patient for surgery and ensure all medical equipment is sterilized and functioning correctly.


As an Allied Health Operating Room Tech your duties include:

  • Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the surgery.

  • Anticipating and providing instruments and supplies to surgeons during surgery.

  • Conserving any items needed for laboratory examinations.


One year of experience as an OR Tech within the past two years.

  • Current Nursing License in good standing.

  • Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.

  • Negative Drug Screen.
