Peak whale watching is from May through September. You can catch a whale watching cruise or watch from land at Lime Kiln Point State Park. Whale watching is just one way to enjoy Washington's Pacific Coast--Washington has over 3,000 miles of saltwater coastline for you to explore.

Washington has two mountain ranges for you to enjoy. The Olympic Mountains on the Olympic Peninsula and the Cascade Range which stretch south to include the Columbia River Gorge.

OR TECHOR

The OR Tech is responsible for assisting surgeons in the operating room. An OR Technician will prepare the patient and room for surgery and make sure all medical tools are sterilized and operational.

Responsibilities

As an Allied Health Operating Room Technician your duties include:
  • Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the operation.
  • Anticipating and handing supplies and instruments to surgeons during surgery.
  • Preserving any items needed for lab examinations.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Operating Room Technician within the past two years.
  • Current RN License in good standing.
  • Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
