Job Description

The Telemetry RN is responsible for caring for patients that need special monitoring, frequently including patients recently released from the Intensive Care Unit.

Responsibilities

As a Telemetry Registered Nurse your responsibilities include:
  • Distributing prescribed medications and use life measuring equipment.
  • Analyzing data produced from various medical equipment and act upon findings.
  • Giving updates to the patient and their families about their condition.
  • Educating patients about the best ways to adjust to major lifestyle changes.

Requirements

One year of experience as a TELE RN within the past two years.
  • Current Nursing License in good standing.
  • Current BLS from American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
