Job Description

The TELE Registered Nurse is responsible for taking care of patients who need special monitoring, often including patients recently released from the ICU.

Responsibilities

As a Telemetry Nurse your responsibilities consist of:
  • Distributing prescribed medications and use life measuring equipment.
  • Interpreting data produced from various medical equipment and act upon findings.
  • Providing updates to the patient and their family members about their condition.
  • Educating patients about the best ways to adapt to major lifestyle changes.

Requirements

One year of experience as a TELE RN within the past two years.
  • Active RN License in good standing.
  • Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
