The Telemetry Registered Nurse is responsible for taking care of patients who require special monitoring, sometimes including patients recently released from the Intensive Care Unit.
As a TELE Nurse your responsibilities consist of:
- Giving prescribed medications and use life measuring instruments.
- Interpreting data produced from various medical equipment and act upon findings.
- Giving updates to the patient and their family members regarding their condition.
- Educating patients about the different ways to adapt to major lifestyle changes.
One year of experience as a Telemetry RN within the past two years.
- Active Nursing License in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
