Maryland is in the middle of lots of good things, it's no wonder travel nurses love Maryland! Ocean City, MD is one of the east coast's number one resort cities and has 10 miles of great beaches. Job Description

The TELE RN is responsible for taking care of patients who need special monitoring, often this includes patients recently released from the ICU.

Responsibilities

As a Telemetry Registered Nurse your responsibilities consist of:


  • Administering prescribed medications and operating life measuring instruments.

  • Interpreting data produced from various medical equipment and act upon findings.

  • Providing updates to the patient and their family members regarding their condition.

  • Teaching patients about the different ways to adjust to major lifestyle changes.

Requirements

One year of experience as a TELE RN within the past two years.


  • Current RN License in good standing.

  • Current BLS from American Heart Association.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
