Job Description
Stepdown Registered Nurses tend to patients who have been critically ill and who are recovering. Stepdown Registered Nurses help with a safe and smooth progression from the Intensive Care Unit to the general nursing floors, for both the patients and their family members.
Responsibilities
As a Stepdown Registered Nurse your duties include:
- Creating a care plan for the patient while collaborating with other healthcare staff members.
- Closely watching the patient’s care and make provisions to make sure they are stable.
- Handling patient assessments (pre and post ICU care) and document results.
Requirements
One year of experience as a Stepdown RN within the past two years.
- Active RN License in good standing.
- Current BLS from American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
