Stepdown Registered Nurses provide a smooth and safe changeover from the Intensive Care Unit to the general nursing floors, for both the patients and their family members.ResponsibilitiesAs a Stepdown Registered Nurse your responsibilities include:
Creating a care plan for the patient while working with other healthcare staff members.
Closely watching the care of the patient and make provisions to make sure they are stable.
Handling patient assessments (pre and post ICU care) and record results.
RequirementsOne year of experience as a Stepdown Nurse within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
