Radiology Nurse are in charge of patients undergoing diagnostic and radiation imaging procedures. Radiology Nurses have to be very technical and familiar with using and reading the radiology equipment.
As a Radiology Nurse your duties include:
- Analyzing and watch patientâ€™s vital signs before, during and after procedures.
- Assisting with x-rays, MRIs, CT scans and ultrasounds.
- Administering medications based on the doctor’s instructions and document results.
- Providing comfort and support for patients and their family members who are worried about procedures.
One year of experience as a Radiology Nurse within the past two years.
- Active Nursing License in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
