Job Description
A PICU Nurse is responsible for managing the general care of children and infants who have serious health troubles that need constant supervision. PICU nurses play a major part in analyzing any changes in the patient’s condition.
Responsibilities
As a PICU Nurse your duties include
- Administering prescribed medications.
- Performing patient checks.
- Completing needed procedures as taught by the doctor.
- Making sure that the patient’s emotional and physical needs are satisfied.
- Conducting physicals and screening for diseases.
Requirements
One year of experience as a PICU Nurse within the past two years.
- Active Nursing License in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
