Job Description

A PICU Nurse manages the general care of a child or infant with serious health matters that need constant monitoring. They play a significant part in managing any changes in the patient’s condition.

Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit Registered nurse your responsibilities include


  • Distributing meds.

  • Administering patient assessments.

  • Completing appropriate procedures as taught by the doctor.

  • Ensuring that the patient’s physical and emotional needs are met.

  • Completing physicals and screening for illnesses.

Requirements

One year of experience as a PICU RN within the past two years.


  • Current Nursing License in good standing.

  • Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
