Job Description

A Pediatric Registered nurse is responsible for the care of children of all ages when they are sick. Pediatric Nurses will see many different conditions and illnesses and offer care options.

Responsibilities

As a Pediatric Registered nurse your responsibilities include:
  • Performing normal checkups, checking and documenting vital signs.
  • Giving medications and immunizations, while closely monitoring patient.
  • Communicating with parents and their family members going over conditions and possible treatments.
  • Teaching the patient and their family members about healthier lifestyles and activities.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Pediatric RN within the past two years.
  • Current RN License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
  • Negative Drug Screen.
