Washington has the largest temperate rainforests in North America, Quinault and Hoh forests, also known for their record setting trees and giant slugs. These magical forests, located in Olympic National Park, are almost beyond description.

Peak whale watching is from May through September. You can catch a whale watching cruise or watch from land at Lime Kiln Point State Park. Whale watching is just one way to enjoy Washington's Pacific Coast--Washington has over 3,000 miles of saltwater coastline for you to explore.

Washington has two mountain ranges for you to enjoy. The Olympic Mountains on the Olympic Peninsula and the Cascade Range which stretch south to include the Columbia River Gorge.

RNPACU

The Post Anesthetic Care Unit Registered nurse will be responsible for the daily care of patients that have just went through anesthesia during a procedures. PACU Nurses care for all types of patients, from adults to children and play an crucial role in the recovery of the patient.

Responsibilities

As a PACU RN your duties consist of:
  • Analyze the health of the patient and administer medications as needed.
  • Assisting patients with personal needs right after their medical procedure as they are brought back to consciousness.
  • Monitor the patient's vitals and make sure that no complications are found.
  • Take care of the patients post-op wounds and change bandages when necessary.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Post Anesthetic Care Unit RN within the past two years.
  • Current Nursing License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
