The state is a popular destination for seaside vacations and weekend getaways due to its variety of activities, excellent food, and gorgeous sights.

New Hampshire is filled with lakes and mountains that lend themselves to plenty of outdoor activities for the adventure-seeking RN. The beautiful White Mountains are known to be a go-to spot for hikers and skiers, as well as those who just want to snap pictures of the views. Mount Washington State Park is another popular destination for lovers of the outdoors.

New Hampshire is full of quaint towns filled with Bed & Breakfasts that inhabitants from nearby states flock to regularly. Portsmouth, for instance, is a seaside town with a rich history. It's a great location for the travel nurse looking to unwind among ocean views and friendly residents. It also offers exciting art and music scenes if that's what you're looking for.

New Hampshire is proud of all it has to offer and shows it through the many festivals and fairs throughout the year that celebrate pretty much everything, especially the food. Hampton Beach Seafood Festival is ranked among the best festivals in the United States. You can sample some of the best seafood in the world along with all kinds of cuisine, shop the various art and craft vendors, stop at one of several stages featuring live music, and see a fireworks show. If you find yourself in New Hampshire as the weather cools down, head to Warner Fall Foliage Fest, a community event that celebrates the beauty of autumn in New Hampshire.

During a travel assignment in New Hampshire, there are so many sights to see and ways to spend your time. If you have time to venture out of the state, for instance, Quebec is right next door. Give Nurses PRN a call to find out more about the opportunities available in The Granite State!
