The Operating Room RN is responsible for aiding surgeons in the OR. Operating Room Registered Nurses will prep the room and the patient for the procedure and make positive that all equipment is clean and working correctly.ResponsibilitiesOperating Room RN responsibilities include:
Monitoring the well being of the patient before, during and after the procedure.
Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and provide medical instruments and supplies to them during procedures.
Collecting and tracking any items needed for lab work.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an OR Registered Nurse within the past two years.
Current Nursing License in good standing.
Current BLS from American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
