The Operating Room Registered Nurse is responsible for aiding surgeons in the OR. Operating Room Registered Nurses will prep the room and the patient for the procedure and make positive that all medical equipment is clean and working correctly.
OR RN duties include:
- Analyzing the health of the patient before, during and after the procedure.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgeons and hand medical instruments and medical supplies to them during operations.
- Collecting and labeling the items needed for lab work.
One year of experience as an OR RN within the past two years.
- Active RN License in good standing.
- Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
