Job Description

The Operating Room RN is responsible for working with surgeons in the operating room. Operating Room Registered Nurses will prep the room and the patient for the procedure and make positive that all equipment is clean and operating correctly.


Operating Room Registered Nurse responsibilities consist of:

  • Monitoring the health of the patient before, during and after the operation.

  • Predict what the surgeons need and provide instruments and medical supplies to them during procedures.

  • Collecting and logging any items needed for lab examinations.


One year of experience as an OR Registered Nurse within the past two years.

  • Current Nursing License in good standing.

  • Current BLS from American Heart Association.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
