There are tons of ways to see the city and places to explore, something you'll certainly want to do during time off from your nursing contract. The Albuquerque Biological Park is a good starting point as it includes the Albuquerque Aquarium, the Rio Grande Botanic Garden, the Rio Grande Zoo, and the popular Tingley Beach. Fans of the television show, Breaking Bad, can explore the city on a day-long tour that stops at the show's various filming locations.

Old Town is the place to go for shopping and dining in Albuquerque; it's also filled with interesting museums. To see the beautiful desert and mountain views that Albuquerque offers, head to the Sandia Mountains, a popular destination for hiking, rock climbing, and even skiing and snowboarding in the winter. You can take the Sandia Peak Tramway, the longest tramway in the world, to the top peak and catch a gorgeous desert sunset on your way.

Whether you're taking in the wildlife at Rio Grande Valley State Park, attending the world-famous International Balloon Fiesta, or trying some delicious food at the New Mexico State Fair, a travel contract spent in Albuquerque will be jam packed with new experiences.
