Maryland is in the middle of lots of good things, it's no wonder travel nurses love Maryland! Ocean City, MD is one of the east coast's number one resort cities and has 10 miles of great beaches. Baltimore is a city of diverse neighborhoods, like Little Italy, with world-class restaurants, unique shops and boutiques and an endless array of entertainment options.

Feast on the famous blue crabs at great eateries all over Maryland. Maryland is full of great places to see like Annapolis, called the "Sailing Capital of the World" and home to the U.S. Naval Academy. Any time of the year, shoppers will enjoy Bethesda's trendy boutiques and restaurants. Then cross into Washington D.C. to see all of the excitement and majesty of our nation's capitol. Living and working in Maryland puts RN in the middle of lots of good things to see and do.

RNM/S

A Med/Surg RN performs a variety of duties from entry to discharge with a patient. Medical Surgical RN's work directly with patients and also may assist a doctor with procedures. A Med/Surg RN can handle the duties of a charge nurse when needed.

Responsibilities

As a Med/Surg Registered Nurse your duties consist of:
  • Performing patient admissions and assessments.
  • Giving necessary medications.
  • Documenting patient care regarding procedures and the results of their tests.
  • Carrying out physicians orders.
  • Review labs and other test results.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Medical Surgical RN within the past two years.
  • Current Nursing License in good standing.
  • Current BLS through American Heart Association.
  • Negative Drug Screen.
