If you're in the mood for some BBQ then the American Royal BBQ Contest, held in Kansas City, is the place to get it. Started in 1980, this contest has grown to now spread over 20 acres and features 500 teams competing in four culinary contests. You could say it's the World Series of Barbecue.

Job Description

A Maternal and Child Health RN serves women, children and their families related to their public health issues. As a Maternal and Child Health Nurse you will meet with mothers and fathers during scheduled home visits. Maternal and Child Health Registered Nurses also can help with sexual reproductive health services.ResponsibilitiesAs a Maternal and Child Health Registered Nurse your duties include:

Providing information on family planning matters.
Supporting preventive prenatal and health practices for mothers. Which includes helping her with prenatal care, have a better diet, and reducing and/or eliminating her use of alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drugs.
Supporting the health and well being of women who are pregnant and their children.
Increasing family vaccination rates.
Helping the mother prepare physically and emotionally for the arrival of her infant.
Provide life coaching for the expecting mother and her family members to ensure she is self-sufficient by assisting them to develop a vision for their life.
RequirementsOne year of experience as an Maternal and Child Health RN within the past two years.

Active RN License in good standing.
Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
