Job Description
The IR Registered Nurse must have the ability to treat a variety of conditions. IR Registered Nurses must be familiar with operating machinery necessary to treat the health conditions of the patient.
Responsibilities
IR Registered Nurse duties consist of:
- Assisting with x-rays, MRIs and ultrasounds.
- Overseeing radiation therapies to treat patient conditions.
- Monitoring the well-being of the patient.
- Providing emotional support while updating family members of the current health status of the patient.
Requirements
One year of experience as an IR Registered Nurse within the past two years.
- Active Nursing License in good standing.
- Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
- Negative Drug Screen.
