Job Description

The IR Registered Nurse must have the ability to treat a variety of conditions. IR Registered Nurses must be familiar with operating machinery necessary to treat the health conditions of the patient.

Responsibilities

IR Registered Nurse duties consist of:


  • Assisting with x-rays, MRIs and ultrasounds.

  • Overseeing radiation therapies to treat patient conditions.

  • Monitoring the well-being of the patient.

  • Providing emotional support while updating family members of the current health status of the patient.

Requirements

One year of experience as an IR Registered Nurse within the past two years.


  • Active Nursing License in good standing.

  • Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.

  • Negative Drug Screen.
