RNIMCUAlbany, GA

An Intermediate Care RN is responsible for the care of patients with non-critical, but usually very serious health problems who need advanced consultation and intensive therapies.

Responsibilities

As an ICRN some of your responsibilities include:
  • Initial patient assessment.
  • Write custom care plan based on the patient's condition.
  • Working with the physicians to execute medication treatments.
  • Continuing evaluations as needed based on the patient's condition.
  • Document all patient assessment results, physical responses to procedures and the patient's general progress.
  • Summarize all information on patients to the appropriate personnel by the end of each shift.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Intermediate Care Registered Nurse within the past two years.
  • Active Nursing License in good standing.
  • Current BLS from American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
