Washington State has it all, a true paradise for RN wanting to advance their career. It has a spectacular coastline, temperate rainforests, mountain ranges and active volcanoes. The Seattle-Tacoma area is rich in history and culture while the east side of the state, Spokane is rich in outdoor life and is with-in easy day trip range to many great locations such as Lake Coeur d'Alene.

The grunge scene emerge from Seattle in the 1980's. Seattle leads the way with green technology and an environmentally sound culture. There is a huge selection of things for RN to do in the Seattle - Tacoma area ranging from hiking, seeing the Space Needle, taking the Underground Tour, spending a day at Alki Beach, spending a night exploring the bookstores, art galleries, restaurants and nightlife of Pioneer Square or taking a day trip to Mount Rainier, Mount St. Helen's or Olympic National Park.

Washington has the largest temperate rainforests in North America, Quinault and Hoh forests, also known for their record setting trees and giant slugs. These magical forests, located in Olympic National Park, are almost beyond description.

Peak whale watching is from May through September. You can catch a whale watching cruise or watch from land at Lime Kiln Point State Park. Whale watching is just one way to enjoy Washington's Pacific Coast--Washington has over 3,000 miles of saltwater coastline for you to explore.

Washington has two mountain ranges for you to enjoy. The Olympic Mountains on the Olympic Peninsula and the Cascade Range which stretch south to include the Columbia River Gorge.

RNER I

Emergency Room RNs assist patients who are experiencing life-threatening trauma or injuries. Emergency Room Registered Nurses need to be able to rapidly identify life-threatening complications while remaining professional and calm.

Responsibilities

As an Emergency Room RNs your duties include:
  • Managing time and having the ability to make fast, accurate assessments.
  • Ensuring patients are stable and reducing any pain in an intense setting.
  • Giving prescribed medications while reviewing their records for allergies to prevent problems.
  • Quickly take vitals and other health samples when needed.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Emergency room registered nurse within the past two years.
  • Current Nursing License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
  • Negative Drug Screen.
