Job Description

Emergency Nurses assist patients who are experiencing life-threatening trauma or injuries. Emergency Room RNs need to be able to rapidly identify life-threatening problems while staying professional and calm.

Responsibilities

As an Emergency Nurses your duties consist of:
  • Managing time and having the ability to make immediate, accurate assessments.
  • Ensuring patients are stable and reducing any discomfort in an intense setting.
  • Supplying medications while reviewing their records for any allergies to prevent complications.
  • Quickly obtain vitals and other samples when needed.

Requirements

One year of experience as an Emergency room registered nurse within the past two years.
  • Current Nursing License in good standing.
  • Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
