A Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse evaluates and executes necessary health care for cardiovascular patients before, during, and after the operation. Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse play an key role in assisting doctors during various types of procedures in the cardiovascular operating room.


As a Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse your duties consist of:
  • Creating a safe and sterile surgical environment for patients.
  • Assessing patient's condition.
  • Implementing patient care plans.
  • Helping surgeons during procedures to make sure that medical equipment are working properly.
  • Monitoring the patient's condition during and after surgery.
  • Informing the patient and their family members about ongoing needs and care of the patient to make certain they recover quickly and do so comfortably.


One year of experience as a Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse within the past two years.
  • Active Nursing License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
