A CVOR Registered Nurse evaluates and executes necessary health care for patients before, during, and after the procedure. CVOR RN play an key role in supporting physicians during varying types of procedures in the cardiovascular operating room.
As a CVOR Registered Nurse your duties include:
- Ensuring a safe and sterile surgical environment for patients.
- Assessing patient’s condition.
- Carrying out patient care plans.
- Assisting doctors during procedures to make sure that medical equipment are working properly.
- Monitoring the patient’s condition during and after the operation.
- Teaching the patient and their family about ongoing needs and care of the patient to make certain they quickly recover and do so comfortably.
One year of experience as a CVOR Registered Nurse within the past two years.
- Active RN License in good standing.
- Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
- Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
