RN Critical Care / ICU

Worcester, Wisconsin

Green Bay is most well-known to the rest of the world as the home of the Green Bay Packers football team, but it also happens to be a town surrounded by beautiful bluffs and waterfront with a lively downtown featuring museums, galleries, shopping, dining, and entertainment. For a travel nurse who wants to be in a friendly, welcoming town with plenty of ways to explore, Green Bay is the place.

Lambeau Field is the home stadium of the Packers and a legendary must-stop in Green Bay whether or not you're a fan. If you aren't lucky enough to be in the stadium on game day, you can still take a Lambeau Field tour or check out the Green Bay Packer Hall of Fame. You can also take the Packers Heritage Trail trolley tour, which takes you through downtown Green Bay and explores the history of the city along with the history of the team.

While on a travel contract in Green Bay, go shopping at the Saturday Farmer's Market downtown to try some famous Wisconsin cheese and check out local crafts. Live music lovers will feel right at home at the EastWest Music Series, named for taking place both on the East and West sides of the Fox River. History buffs should be sure to stop at Heritage Hill, Green Bay's own living history museum. Beyond that, you can check out the NEW Zoo, Bay Beach Amusement Park, and the National Railroad Museum.

The active travel nurse will feel right at home with tons of parks, lake and riverfront, waterfalls, and bluffs to be explored. Green Bay is full of great places for a scenic hike or a kayak ride. Whatever it is you choose to do with the precious free time you get during a travel contract, Green Bay very likely has it. Give Nurses PRN a call to see what we have available in "Titletown!"
