RNCARDIAC CATHMedford, OR

The Catheterization Lab Nurse assists medical staff in the analysis and treatment of cardiac problems. Catherization lab RNs are responsible for preparing the patient for their examinations, and give emotional and physical support to the patient.

Responsibilities

As a Cath Lab Nurse your responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring the patient's vitals before, during and after procedures.
  • Dispensing and documenting medication.
  • Providing treatment as necessary.
  • Helping the doctors perform several procedures such as stent placements.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Cath Lab Nurse within the past two years.
  • Current Nursing License in good standing.
  • Current Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
