Job Description

The Cath Lab RN assists medical staff in the analysis and treatment of cardiac problems. Catherization lab RNs are responsible for preparing the patient for their examinations, and provide emotional and physical support to the patient.

Responsibilities

As a Catheterization Lab Nurse your responsibilities consist of:
  • Monitoring the patient’s vital signs before, during and after procedures.
  • Giving and recording medication.
  • Providing treatment when necessary.
  • Helping the doctors perform different procedures such as angioplasties and stent placements.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Cath Lab Nurse within the past two years.
  • Current RN License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.
  • Negative Drug Screen.

City of Rocks National Reserve is a unique favorite of hikers with its larger than life boulders and rock formations.
