Job Description

The Registered Nurse Case Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating and facilitating medical services for a patient. It is crucial that RN Case Managers focus on providing quality medical services and efficient processes for the patient and organization.


A Registered Nurse Case Manager’s duties consist of:

  • Talking with the patient and their family members to diagnose their needs.

  • Developing strategies to satisfy the patient’s needs.

  • Providing help to the patient and their family.

  • Assisting in finding the lowest cost method of care.

  • Ensuring the plan is exceeding the patient’s needs.


One year of experience as a RN Case Manager within the past two years.

  • Current RN License in good standing.

  • Up to date Basic Life Support through American Heart Association.

  • Negative Drug Screen.
