Job Description

A CVICU Nurse provides specialized care for heart attacks, major heart surgery and injuries involving the cardiovascular system.


As a CVICU Registered Nurse your responsibilities include:

  • Distributing prescribed medications.

  • Checking vital stats.

  • Alerting the physicians of any critical changes in the patient’s condition.


  • One year of experience as a Cardiovascular ICU nurse within the past two years.

  • Active Nursing License in good standing.

  • Up to date BLS through American Heart Association.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
