Job Description

Cardiology RNs treat patients who suffer from heart and vascular diseases. They will frequently educate patients on coping with new lifestyle methods and preventative measures in order to further minimize cardiovascular and pulmonary risks.

Responsibilities

As a Cardiology RN your responsibilities consist of:
  • Conducting varying health assessments and giving the proper care based on test results.
  • Analyzing and documenting the patient’s vascular and cardiac patterns, plus logging EKG results.
  • Instructing patients and their families on how to deal with heart disease, while providing patients emotional support.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Cardiology nurses within the past two years.
  • Current RN License in good standing.
  • Up to date BLS from American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
