RNCARDIAC CATHGainesville, GA

The Cath Lab RN assists doctors in the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac problems. Cath lab nurses are responsible for preparing the patient for their procedures, and provide physical and emotional support to the patient.

Responsibilities

As a Catheterization Lab RN your responsibilities include:
  • Monitoring the patient's vital signs before, during and after procedures.
  • Giving and logging prescribed medication.
  • Providing treatment when needed.
  • Helping the doctors perform different procedures such as stent placements.

Requirements

One year of experience as a Cath Lab Nurse within the past two years.
  • Current RN License in good standing.
  • Up to date Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
