Job Description

The Occupational Therapist is responsible for the care of patients with physical, social, or mental. They work with patients young and old who have been dealing with complications since birth, or newly disabled patients due to an illness or accident.

Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist your duties include:


  • Aid patients accomplish day to day tasks and work.

  • Offer feedback on ways to change their environment to better fit their needs.

  • Prepare and implement a rehabilitation plan with the patient and constantly {oversee|assess|analyze|monitor| their progress.

  • Teach the patient and their family members on different ways to cope with and improve their current disabilities or complications

Requirements

One year of experience as an Allied Health Occupational Therapist within the past two years.


  • Current RN License in good standing.

  • Current Basic Life Support from American Heart Association.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
