Job Description

The Operating Room Technician is responsible for working with surgeons in the OR. An Operating Room Tech will prepare the room and patient for their operation and make certain all medical tools are sterilized and operational.

Responsibilities

As an Allied Health Operating Room Tech your responsibilities consist of:


  • Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the surgery.

  • Anticipating and providing instruments and supplies to surgeons during procedures.

  • Preserving any items needed for lab examinations.

Requirements

One year of experience as an OR Technician within the past two years.


  • Active Nursing License in good standing.

  • Current BLS from American Heart Association.

  • Negative Drug Screen.
