Job Description

The OR Tech is responsible for working with surgeons in the OR. An OR Technician will prep the patient and room for their operation and make sure all medical tools are sterilized and functioning correctly.


As an Allied Health Operating Room Technician your duties consist of:

  • Evaluating the health of the patient before, during and after the surgery.

  • Predicting and providing supplies and instruments to surgeons during procedures.

  • Preserving any items needed for laboratory examinations.


One year of experience as an OR Technician within the past two years.

  • Active RN License in good standing.

  • Current BLS from American Heart Association.

  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen.
